Let’s face it, no matter how early the school run starts or how well it’s planned, somehow, it ends with a mad rush out of the door. After school, the clock is still against us. Whether it’s an ‘average’ nine-to-five day or shifts or longer hours, they often conflict with school pick-ups, leaving many parents seeking additional childcare support.

Now you can relax. Little Oaks offers nursery and Tylers Green First School children the chance to start their day at 7:45 and stay with us until 4, 5 or 6pm. We provide a nurturing environment where your child can feel at home, whether before or after school. But we are not just offering a safe place to stay, we’re providing children with new interests designed to develop their social skills and confidence. Each day will provide a different opportunity, a new experience.

• Healthy, nutritious breakfast in the mornings and a light tea at either 4:30 or 5pm
• We deliver your school child to their class teacher in the morning and collect from their classroom door at the end of the day
• Fridays – 4pm finish
• Prices include all before and after-school meals, snacks and drinks

Conditions for Breakfast & Tea Time

• The notice period for a permanent change or reduction is a half term, not including school holidays. For September renewals, parents are required to confirm at the beginning of the summer term when a formal offer is made. Changes from then on are subject to half a term’s notice.
• We will always try to accommodate one-off requests but can’t guarantee them. If we have agreed to a last minute extra or one-off and parents subsequently cancel, 48 hours’ notice is required to avoid being charged.
• Breakfast & Tea Time term dates may differ from both nursery and school term dates; please always check our website: www.little-oaks.org
• Tea Time does not run on the last day of a term when there is an early finish at Tylers Green First School.
• Payment will not be refunded for non-attendance.
• Children attending Tea Time will be collected by us at the end of the school day or from extra-curricular clubs attended. Parents should inform the school that their child will be attending Tea Time.
• Parents/carers must inform Little Oaks of any change in contact details.
• Invoices are usually issued monthly with payment to be made by the 12th of the month. Any extras will fall into the following month’s invoice. We accept tax-free childcare payments; please enquire if you’d like to pay in this way.
• If BTT is forced to close because of circumstances beyond our control, (e.g. bad weather or school closure) we will not be able to refund fees. We will always endeavour to remain open, however.
• Breakfast is served between 7:45 – 8:15. After that, children will be included in activities until they are taken to their classroom for 8:40 but won’t be able to eat breakfast. 8:30 is the latest a child may be dropped to Breakfast Club.
• Breakfast – parents must see their children onto the premises and ensure they are led in by a Little Oaks staff member. Please ensure they are walking with you, using the cordoned-off footpath, to the hall door as the staff car park is in regular use at this time.
• Tea Time – please arrive punctually at the agreed time for collection – we have to release two staff members to wait with children, so any delay means the remaining children are affected by reduced staff numbers.
• For changes in collection time, a message must be sent BY 2pm on the day either by calling or WhatsApping the Little Oaks mobile: 07437 689158. We will not be able to facilitate any changes after this time. In extenuating circumstances only, please CALL the number – please don’t assume we will have seen a message.
